1. Dilution (indicative), preferably with lukewarm water and always with clean water: daily cleaning 1:40 to 1:60; periodic deep cleaning 1:10 to 1:20, depending on the surface; tire marks, oil and grease 1:2 to 1:3, or undiluted for stubborn spots.
2. Before starting, test a sample area with the same method, dilution, equipment and crew that will do the cleaning, to check the result and appearance.
3. Daily cleaning with an auto-scrubber or swing buffer: follow the machine manual and let the floor dry. No rinsing of the floor is needed.
4. Daily cleaning with a mop: use a separate bucket with clean, preferably lukewarm water to rinse and wring the mop. Spread one mop-load of diluted decoCLEAN evenly over the floor, then rinse and wring the mop before reloading. Let the floor dry. No rinsing of the floor is needed.
5. Periodic deep cleaning: dilute 1:10 to 1:20 and work as for daily cleaning.
6. Tire marks, oil spills and grease stains: apply decoCLEAN (1:2 to 1:3, or undiluted) to the stain, let it work for about 15 minutes, then agitate to lift the stain. Repeat if needed. Rinse the spot with clean water, then clean the whole area as usual.
7. Keep traffic off the floor until it is dry — the surface can be slippery while wet.
8. Protect adjacent surfaces and wipe off overspray quickly with a damp cloth and soap. Clean tools with soap and water; do not pour product into sewers or storm drains.

Do I need to rinse the floor after cleaning?

No. After daily or deep cleaning, simply let the floor dry. Only after spot cleaning tire marks, oil or grease do you rinse that spot with clean water before cleaning the whole area as usual.

How does cleaning make the floor stronger?

decoCLEAN contains reactive colloidal silica. With every wash, a little silica penetrates the surface and bonds to the concrete. This reduces porosity, hardens the top layer and improves abrasion resistance over time — so regular cleaning also protects the floor.

Which dilution should I use?

It depends on how dirty the floor is:

1. Daily cleaning: 1:40 to 1:60.
2. Periodic deep cleaning: 1:10 to 1:20, depending on the surface.
3. Tire marks, oil and grease: 1:2 to 1:3, or undiluted for stubborn spots.

Can I use decoCLEAN together with other Deco Crete products?

Yes. decoCLEAN is chemically matched with decoSIL CH, decoFINISH and decoSLABSAVER. Using them together gives continuous improvement of the concrete surface.

What safety measures should I take?

decoCLEAN is for professional use. It contains alkaline components that can irritate eyes and skin, so wear gloves and eye protection. If it gets in your eyes, rinse with water and consult a doctor if irritation persists. Protect the product from frost and stir before use. The safety data sheet is available on request.
