With the DC Power Trowel Polish system, you polish concrete with the power trowel you already have. Diamond pads attach with Velcro to flexible adapter plates, or you use the DC Power Polish Kit with 12 pads. The kit fits under the finishing blades as well as under the discs, on single and double machines of both 90 and 120 cm. Loose pads are also available for edge machines, with foam risers between the machine and the pads so they follow the floor. You work step by step from coarse to fine; where you start and stop depends on the floor surface and the gloss you want. Along the way you densify with a hardener such as decoSIL and protect with a sealer such as decoFINISH, and burnishing pads give the final, long-lasting gloss. Afterwards the parts come off and the trowel is ready for normal work again.
