Description:
Many terraces and residential concrete floors in the Netherlands are made with coloured concrete. Over time the pigment can work its way out of the surface and spread everywhere. This family had been using their terrace for several years, and every summer they walked black pigment into the house after walking on it barefoot. Several earlier attempts by other companies had not solved the problem. We cleaned the surface thoroughly and impregnated it twice with decoSIL, polished with #50 and #100, impregnated it once more with decoSIL, polished with #200 and finished with two thin coats of decoSTAINSTOP. The pigment no longer comes off, and the owners are happy again.
Solution:
decoSIL locks the surface and stops colour pigment from coming out of the concrete, while decoSTAINSTOP protects the terrace against stains.
